As conditions deteriorated on the boats, one could only wonder who of these nine Nantucketers, six African Americans, and five white off-islanders would become the hawks and who would become the tropic birds." 能夠浸沒體驗的書都是好書。雖然看瞭兩遍但每次翻開都有新發現，感覺還可以再看多兩次。這本書也沒有傳統的主綫，隻是通過延伸情景展示內部聯係和碰撞。準備看同名電影瞭。
