作者简介

约翰·麦克米兰是斯坦福大学商学院乔纳森·洛夫雷斯经济学讲座（Jonathan B. Lovelace Professor of Economics）教授，斯坦福大学经济政策研究所高级研究员。麦克米兰原籍新西兰，是位严谨的理论家，很早以前就认为，要了解外国，最好的方法是去那里教书。因此他曾在日本、澳大利亚、印度、德国、荷兰、法国、加拿大执教，时间长短不一。麦克米兰的研究兴趣涵盖经济改革、机制设计、市场制度的跨国比较、发展中经济和转轨经济的企业精神。1995年，他进入知名的经济顾问公司——市场设计公司（Market Design Inc.）服务，现为该公司副总裁。
