李 • 斯莫林（Lee Smolin）
1955年齣生於美國，擁有罕布什爾學院學士學位和哈佛大學博士學位，在普林斯頓高等研究院、聖巴巴拉理論物理研究所以及芝加哥大學做博士後；曾任教於耶魯大學、雪城大學和賓夕法尼亞州立大學。現任加拿大圓周理論物理研究所研究員、滑鐵盧大學物理係客座教授、多倫多大學哲學係研究生導師。
美國知名理論物理學傢，圈量子引力論創始人之一， 被譽為“現今最具原創力的理論學傢之一”。
暢銷書作傢，著有多本科普圖書，因其對“前沿物理大眾科普的卓越貢獻”，榮獲由美國物理教師聯閤會頒發的剋洛普•斯特格紀念奬（Klopp Steg Memorial Award）。
