也是泛读课读的，觉得作者想象力丰富… 有点久忘了。

muteness envy; wartime homosociality vs. biological reproduction; jouissance beyond the pleasure principle... 常见的returning soldier的题材，劳伦斯写得一波三折；原本战争才是例外状态，男性的回归却指涉战时如March和Banford一般的女性间关系的abnormality，March和Henry主奴辩证法般的关系在最后的爆发后反而变得扑朔迷离：“The awful mistake of happiness.”
