其實高中英語課學過選段，不過讀完是在大二下的西方文學選讀課。這篇比較簡單易讀。懷念那個超級gentleman的金發小老頭，晚十一點後仍然半小時內迴郵件答疑，一年之後還會早起迴郵件，改CV巨細。

Appendix裏書評的行文充滿濃鬱的貴族式矜持與優謹措辭，值得多多琢磨。

The meaning of Christmas Day as well as the truth of happiness. Warm my heart in the extraordinary way. I love happy ending, although there are few with such fortune like Scrooge's in the real life. "God bless Us, Every One!"

从剖析人物的角度来分析，这并不能称之为一部很出色的小说。平板化、类型化的痕迹很重，似乎那个年代的富人就是冷漠无情，穷人就是心地善良；而人物的性格转化竟通过三个幽灵（或者是梦）来完成，一来难以信服，二来说教意味很重。从英语学习的角度来看，自己的功底似乎还不够...
