This enchanting novel tells the story of seventeen-year-old Cassandra and her unusual family who live in not-so-genteel poverty in a ramshackle old English castle. 因为听介绍说是什么英国家喻户晓的畅销小说，所以买来看看，前1/3还基本上每页都看，后面大部分实在看不下去，随便翻翻了事。另外在作者介绍里写了句“作者有着童话般的一生。”于是我就好奇起来，上网搜了她的介绍，可惜这女人在国内太没名气了，中文介绍基本没有，好不容易找...
