"necessary evil"; a book badly needs a briefing on its con-text

130713想讀。15年上肯爺爺課時候在erik指導下讀過。He does have some interesting thoughts but superficial.

Two kinds of urban form: a traditional kind of urban fabric and object-like buildings surrounded by open space, in other words, experiential and scientific. The book suggests 'collage' as a design method to intervene in the dilemma of such urban condition.

从图书馆借过两次，每次都是抱着宝贝一样的打开，读了两页文字之后，就开始翻后面的图片，一翻到底...愧于自己的修养不深，想读这样一本书，旁边的参考资料得罗那么高.......(抬头往上看吧)开学再借来试一次吧  

《拼贴城市》，似乎拿起这本书来读就觉得沉甸甸的，想写点什么更是需要鼓起勇气。 “晦涩，实在是晦涩”，这个大概是大多数人读完之后的感慨，当然我也是这么觉得的，不得不承认自己浅薄的知识积淀。但是对这样一本还是决定思考些什么，也算对得起作者写书的良苦用心。...
