對於一個普通碼農來說，這本書最直接的意義：能夠理解那些linker報齣的“天書”到底是什麼意思。站在一個功利人的角度，本書缺少實用價值，正如作者所說『全世界寫linker的人聚在一起，也許一間教室就足以容納』，但這些都不會妨礙這本書在這個領域內的價值。

不直接搞這塊的話，這本書讀起來真是無聊又繁冗。

內容很豐富，都是其他書裏看不到的；寫法可更好更與時俱進一點，會成為一本老少鹹宜的書。中途看瞭篇How debugger works，終於知道debugger是怎麼工作的，這是簡單卻極其重要的一課，你知道int 3 是乾什麼的嗎？

这本书里的习题哪里可以找到答案呢？里面的练习题，有一些还是挺有意思的，如果能找到一个论坛或者什么地方讨论就好了。。。 。。。。。。。。 。。。。。。。。 。。。。。。。 要多少字才能发评论啊？

不知道为什么这么多人要去非难一本10年前的经典。 楼上那几位，说连接器历史没用的，不谈这些，你能明白链接器为什么要一路这么走来，这么设计么？为什么内存要这么布局么？恰恰相反，我认为这些才是这本书真正有价值的部分，让你了解，为什么链接器是“现在”这个样子，而不是...

远不如预想中的好。 书的内容很广，覆盖到了各种平台各种系统，但问题在于，这些系统大多消逝在历史中。在今天，对于我们程序员，其中的大部分系统都接触不到了。 书又很薄，很多地方讲不透，看了之后更让人不懂。更像是一本手册，一本历史，而不是一本教材。 想亲自动手写...

本着知道多点不是坏处的原则这本书值得一读并且书很薄,一个下午就好了,虽然不能告诉你如何具体解决问题,但是书中涉及到一些操作系统历史的问题.无论怎样值得借来一读,不是买
