评分在一部national geographic紀錄片《鬼斧神工尼加拉》的激勵下，花瞭一個晚上把這本注釋相當於正文長度的“經典”的正文部分看完瞭。如果不是看瞭紀錄片，真不知道這本書在扯什麼。尼加拉人具有與眾不同的宇宙觀，這個印度教國傢在格爾茨筆下仍舊是光怪陸離的——西方中心主義？
