My Brilliant Friend is a rich, intense, and generous-hearted story about two friends, Elena and Lila. 之前看到青春期因为发育被同学怀疑垫东西她脱了衣服自证并收费，觉得很可爱，后面刚好看了《美国往事》觉得女性成长跟自我认知的这些细节其实都挺不容易的，真的很想看Lila视角。neighbourhood的环境让我想起小时候村里女人们的那些口角，贫困缺教育的女人世界真的能轻易丑陋坍塌。用superfluous这样的词，却又保持了少女日记的那种事无巨细的碎碎念，简直就是安妮宝贝＋郭敬明合体。《You》里几个闺蜜这样形容她们的友情：“我当然不喜欢她，可我爱她”，姑娘们的友情真的是太复杂了。
