评分Utterly absorbing! The book walked me through a violent, vulgar and vulnerable working class neighborhood and opened my eyes eminently. You may rise above your upbringings by being exceptional, but you can never get rid of your past. P.S. Please change the lousy cover!
评分之前看到青春期因为发育被同学怀疑垫东西她脱了衣服自证并收费，觉得很可爱，后面刚好看了《美国往事》觉得女性成长跟自我认知的这些细节其实都挺不容易的，真的很想看Lila视角。neighbourhood的环境让我想起小时候村里女人们的那些口角，贫困缺教育的女人世界真的能轻易丑陋坍塌。用superfluous这样的词，却又保持了少女日记的那种事无巨细的碎碎念，简直就是安妮宝贝＋郭敬明合体。《You》里几个闺蜜这样形容她们的友情：“我当然不喜欢她，可我爱她”，姑娘们的友情真的是太复杂了。
评分从30%的地方开始好看起来，剧情，语言，人物的心理和情感都变得intense起来，前面20%的时间我都在尝试分清楚谁是谁...
