內容提要

本書是為普通高等院校的藝術類專業學生編寫的，全書

分上、下兩冊。本書為上冊，注重基礎訓練，以藝術類學生

的一般水平為起點，著重選用藝術類的語言材料，同時涵蓋

現代科普知識、人文科學、社會科學等內容。本冊有24課，

每課包括課文、會話、注釋、詞匯、語法、練習和補充閱讀

七個部分，每12課後配有一套測試題作為復習。其中會話

部分是為學生提高語言交流能力而設計的，語法講解力求重

點、難點突齣，並加強語法訓練，作為中學英語的補充與提

高。另外，書後附有總詞匯錶、練習答案和課文譯文，供讀

者參考。
