内容提要

本书是为普通高等院校的艺术类专业学生编写的，全书

分上、下两册。本书为上册，注重基础训练，以艺术类学生

的一般水平为起点，着重选用艺术类的语言材料，同时涵盖

现代科普知识、人文科学、社会科学等内容。本册有24课，

每课包括课文、会话、注释、词汇、语法、练习和补充阅读

七个部分，每12课后配有一套测试题作为复习。其中会话

部分是为学生提高语言交流能力而设计的，语法讲解力求重

点、难点突出，并加强语法训练，作为中学英语的补充与提
