《硃鎔基答記者問(英文版)》收錄瞭硃鎔基同誌在擔任國務院副總理、總理期間迴答中外記者提問和在境外發錶的部分演講。該書曆時兩年，經過二十餘位編輯人員根據音像資料、文字記錄整理而成。此書忠實地記錄瞭中國政府積極應對東南亞金融危機影響，深化糧食流通、財政稅收改革，保持經濟平穩較快發展，推進社會主義民主政治、保障人權，進行住房、醫療和文化體製改革等各項大政方針政策。
