內容簡介

本書是為計算機與通信專業學生而編寫的，全書

共分20個單元。在內容安排上力求從基礎到專業，

從硬件到軟件，從基本知識到新技術、新知識。本書

主要取材於90年代以後國外的30餘種最新材料。內

容廣泛，語言現象豐富。內容涉及基本邏輯元件，數

字計算機，CISC及RISC中央處理單元，存儲器的層

次結構，輸入與輸齣接口，操作係統，程序設計，數

據庫，並行處理，數據的完整性與安全性，計算機網

的結構與協議，多媒體，人工智能，圖像處理，寬帶

通信，ISDN及B－ISDN，ATM，衛星通信，光縴通信，

移動通信及SDH等。所選內容既有基礎理論，又盡

量跟蹤最近兩三年內公眾關心的熱點與新技術。教材

內容基本能覆蓋計算機、通信這兩個專業常用的技術

詞匯、詞組及常見的科技語法。

教材的編寫對於所選專題除正文外，還列齣瞭較

多的關鍵字、注釋、習題及部分參考譯文。對於某些

較難的語法現象，除給齣相應的參考譯文外還對語法

現象予以分析。在本書的最後還附有習題解答及生詞

的速查錶，以供讀者快速查閱。
