【作者簡介】
麗貝卡·韋斯特（Rebecca West，1892—1983）
英國文學傢、文學評論傢、記者、旅行作傢。韋斯特終身緻力於女權與自由主義的社會改革運動。2004年以來，其生平事跡兩次被改編並搬上話劇舞颱；1959年憑藉文學成就獲封大英帝國爵級司令勛章，1950年當選美國藝術與科學學院榮譽院士。
韋斯特著作等身，另有《叛逆的意義》《溢齣的泉水》《思想的蘆葦》《真實的夜晚》《士兵的歸來》。《黑羊與灰鷹》被公認為韋斯特的代錶作品，《士兵的歸來》於1982年被改編為同名電影。其作品被譯為多國文字暢銷世界

評分 評分我把《巴尔干两千年》与《黑羊与灰鹰》这两本书放在一起读，这是因为《巴尔干两千年》作者对《黑羊与灰鹰》极为推崇。我也非常喜欢这两本书。在我看来《巴尔干两千年》最有意思的就是带有个人感情在里面，所以读起来很过瘾。其实做人为友也一样。有时候貌似不偏不倚反倒不如真...
