著者簡介

查爾斯·波蒂斯（Charles Portis），生於1933年，當代美國小說名傢。曾參加朝鮮戰爭，退伍後進入大學，攻讀新聞專業。畢業後從事瞭六年的記者工作，一度專注於報道當時風起雲湧的民權運動。1964年從報社辭職，自此專注於小說創作，迄今齣版瞭五部長篇小說，並在《大西洋月刊》上發錶瞭多部短篇作品。

西部大開發時候的故事啊~~哈哈開玩笑開始完全不知道是19世紀末的事以爲自己看不下去誰知道很快就看完瞭書中自敍的這個為爸爸復仇的姑娘超齡的冷靜十足的談判專傢她的話雖然搞笑自己卻還是那麽淡定讀者就沒法淡定瞭

unlikely friendship between a little girl and an old man. 前幾年讀過幾章就沒興趣瞭。後來重溫生活大爆炸的時候，sheldon 偶然提瞭一嘴 true grit。就打算來看看。200 來頁的一本小書，剛好可以從 fitzgerald 還有 maugham過來換換腦子。
