伊佩霞（Patricia Buckley Ebrey），美国伊利诺伊大学东亚研究及历史学教授。在东亚研究领域，她著述颇丰。著有《中华文明史资料》、《中国唐代和宋代的宗教与社会》等著作，其中《屋里人：中国宋代妇女的婚姻与生活》于1995年获得约瑟夫·P. 利文森奖。

评分通俗易懂，不懂的词跳过也不影响阅读。装订精美，配图合理，价钱便宜。不错。
评分虽然是剑桥简明中华史，听着高贵，其实内容不过是那么基础的。唯一有趣的估计就是每章结尾的时候作者本人对中西文明差异的看法，但太短也只是简单的论点，读得不够爽。要读中华史还是别这样读了 Chris 2013.12.13
