Much darker than the previous Coehlo stories, where protagonists are driven less by the good inspiration, independence, gratitude and wholeness of being alive, but summoned by the bad emptiness behind vanity and desire. The plot of policeman seems somewhat unnecessary, the existence of whom makes me suspicious whether the story is properly ended.
