索尔·贝娄（Saul Bellow，1915－2005），美国作家。生于加拿大魁北克省的拉辛，在蒙特利尔度过童年。一九二四年，举家迁至美国芝加哥。一九三三年，考入芝加哥大学。两年后，转入西北大学，于一九三七年毕业，并获得社会学和人类学学士学位。同年，赴威斯康星大学攻读硕士学位。之后长期在大学执教。
