布兰登·桑德森（Brandon Sanderson）：
1975年12月19日生于美国内布拉斯加州（Nebraska）首府林肯（Lincoln），现居犹他州的欧瑞市（Orem），任教于杨百翰大学（Brigham Young University）。
作者的首部小说《伊岚翠》，2005年甫一出版即获得《浪漫时代》（Romantic Times）奇幻史诗大奖，作者也连续2006、2007年两年入选美国科奇幻界地位最高的新人奖项——约翰·坎伯新人奖，《伊岚翠》更被邦诺书店（Barnes & Noble）列为头号选书。

后《哈里·波特》的美国出版社Scholastic以高价买下作者其他所有奇幻作品的版权。

整部书就是各种为他人做嫁衣，开着挂做嫁衣。。。Kelsier打了一本书，胜利的果实归啥也没做的Elend所有。Vin打满第二本书，果实归Ruin。Vin和Elend开了一路的挂，结果HoA是Sazed。。。坑爹么！
评分所有的谜底都被揭开。在一直压抑的三部曲的最后，给了一个漂亮的结尾。减一星是因为开始看飓光志系列，发现比迷雾系列吸引人得多。
评分atium坑底下藏了东西是第三本看到一半的时候猜到的，不过没想到是rashek的功劳。 看封面的时候还猜是Vin和Elend会各成r和p，结局真是一个暴击，www。 Sazed一直在寻求真的信仰然而信仰总是与他的理性本性相违背，所以最后他成了守望生命的神2333 这套书有点ME的感觉，都是末日临近背景下和似乎不可抗力（以及不可抗力的狗腿）在斗争。 当然桑德森最好看的还是奇幻里的谜语和设定。严谨让人可以做出合理猜测而不是“我二十年前埋了伏笔”（雾），丰富又把坑填的差不多。
评分流弊，居然设了这么大一个局，koloss, kandra 都在不停的反转，最后把男女主角都灭了。能圆这么大一个局确实很厉害了。
