作者四十多年一直在《年鑒》編委會任職。不同於以往關於年鑒學派的介紹書籍（如Peter Burke和Francois Dosse)，這個真正算得上是圈內人的自我認知，似乎更有權威性吧。 實在是讀不懂第六章。對著法文讀，也讀不通。他到底要錶達什麼中心觀點？
