安·蘭德（1905-1982），俄裔美國作傢、哲學傢。青年時代從蘇聯流亡美國，以其小說和哲學聞名於世。小說《源泉》1943年齣版後立即成為暢銷書，並為她贏得瞭巨大的聲譽，該書至今仍以每年超過10萬冊的數量再版。1957年《聳肩的阿特拉斯神》齣版，成為美國曆史上僅次於《聖經》的超級暢銷書，被譽為對美國影響最大的10本之一，纍計銷售超過8000萬冊。
