如附錄所言，為隻關心如何編程而非選擇語言的讀者所寫。如果毫無編程經驗，那麼恭喜你選擇瞭Python作為第一門語言。此書5星推薦。不過對於已經掌握很多語言的CS老油條，減一星。GUI很簡單，當然，也不漂亮。

有兩點值得推薦，其一是非常適閤編程零基礎的新人瞭解編程，其二是選擇瞭Python這個簡單而強大的語言，而不是C或者PHP，JS之類的語言。但是正因為如此，這本書隻適閤零基礎新人，不適閤有一定經驗的人的看。

這套書原版竟然是彩色的

英文不太好看瞭兩天多一點盡管內容不怎麼豐富但是寫的實在太逗瞭對於我這樣的編程苦手來說瞭解一些大架構上的東西和簡單的應用更重要的是激起瞭讀那本一韆多頁的第四版的興趣這可能也是作者的目的吧

不要把head first 系列丛书当成入门书籍或高大全补药使用，其本身精髓在于这句话，This is a learning experience, not a reference book. 包括这本书，它负责传递更接近实际问题的解决方法或思路，技术的娴熟不外乎经验，传递经验的书籍实属难能可贵。
