著者简介

Niall Ferguson, MA, D.Phil., is the Laurence A. Tisch Professor of History at Harvard University and William Ziegler Professor at Harvard Business School.

He is a resident faculty member of the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies. He is also a Senior Research Fellow of Jesus College, Oxford University, and a Senior Fellow of the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.

本书翻译真的蛮差的。由人人影视翻译的英国记录片，不得不承认，人人影视的翻译水准高于本书译者，因此结合起来看看蛮有帮助。具体问题可以看看第一篇评论。这本书真的蛮贵啊。 http://www.yyets.com/resource/10911

中文版这书翻译成货币崛起，太正式了。灵机一动，觉得可以翻成《金钱往上爬》，呵呵！个人觉得还是他的the war of the world与virtual history比较好。Niall Ferguson真算得上是精力旺盛的畅销书作家了！

It is true that the book is quite easy to understand. If one hasn't learn financial history, this book can give one some insights into it. The book is written in a fair logic while I don't think it presents higher understanding about real financial issues....
