著者簡介
卡爾·雅斯貝斯，20世紀德國著名哲學傢、德國存在主義哲學奠基人之一。他主張哲學是對存在的主觀解釋, 認為哲學應當為人的自由而呼籲, 應當注重人的生存, 並以此作為一切現實的核心。《時代的精神狀況》是其重要著作。

关于人的实存观念与人类可能的未来是我最喜欢的两章。 “人的未来寓于他的哲学生活样式中。”确实呢。 关于已经发生建构起来的状况与可能预见构建的状况都是人之于时代最为感兴趣之处。哲学是一种对于实在价值的肯定。并非高高在上不可攀拨之物。

評分本书写于1930年，但作者分析的那个“现时代”的精神境况针对的更像是如今这个现时代，人的迷茫空虚更甚从前。可见经过这100年，人在现代这条路上走了这么远，但对走在这条路上的自己的了解不比100年前的人走得更远。
