上一次读这本书是十年前，托译者的福看第一页就被优美的文字吸引，阅读之后便被奉为最爱没有之一，随着时间细节逐渐淡忘，只深深记得孩童Clare嫉妒Henry的妻子，可爱至极。如今再读原著，文字仍旧优美，可震撼我心的是Clare为了拥有孩子的巨大牺牲和勇气，也许是因为我也为人妻了罢。巧合的是，这十年间我找到的爱人，他也叫Henry。
