Corey Holmes is a seventeen-year-old bent on escaping change in his life. Corey takes you through his struggle to accept change. He analyzes everything and everyone around him, and a chain of events which overlap each other take place to put him through a test of character to see if heall hold onto his initial beliefs about the world and its people. After his last act of defiance, and finding out he is headed to Switzerland, Corey both fears and embraces the separation and welcomes the change taking place. He realizes that the world is fair to some but not all.
