When Seth Copeland returns home after the Civil War， he decides to move his family to Coryell County. The family soon makes the trek from Kentucky， expecting to find paradise. Seth didnt count on meeting up with the Comanche， who take calves and grain， or white bandits willing to kill for supplies. The Copelands soon find they must band together if they are to make it in the lawless West.
