评分高中时学口译看了很多UN文件，千年发展目标听得耳朵起茧。前几章读着读着怎么越来越像一加长版的UN文件，查了一下作者，竟然是MDG的顾问。这书论广不论深，严格来讲不算学术著作吧，但是融合总结了很多不同的school，从哈耶克到social democrats从varieties of capitalism到welfare state。对美国的棍棒外交政策的批判是全书高光。
