著者簡介
周雪光，1982年復旦大學本科畢業，1981年參加南開大學社會學班培訓，1991年美國斯坦福大學社會學博士畢業。曾在美國康奈爾大學和杜剋大學社會學係、香港科技大學商學院組織管理係任教。現任美國斯坦福大學社會學教授，主要從事組織社會學和社會分層領域的研究工作，其主要研究成果發錶在《美國社會學評論》、《美國社會學學刊》、《社會力》、《行政科學季刊》、《組織科學》、《比較政治研究》等期刊上。
郝大海，中國人民大學社會學係教授，博士生導師。1982年國防科學技術大學物理係本科畢業，1992年考入中國人民大學社會學係，1995年、2001年先後獲法學碩士、法學博士學位。主要研究領域為社會分層與流動，主要教學領域為社會研究方法，社會統計學。
