和pro git相比這真是一本爛書。基本概念都沒講清楚就一頭紮進一些無關緊要的細節裏，看得雲裏霧裏的。對於這種浪費我時間和打印紙的書，給三星已經算客氣瞭。

概念解釋清晰，每一章都有收獲。尤其好的是兩點，第一是很多圖解一目瞭然，第二是每章圍繞一個主題深入講，bottom-up的順序(和Git設計理念一緻), 而不是把相關的命令一股腦都列齣來。後麵的index很詳細查找方便

可以和《Pro Git》結閤著一起看。與《Pro Git》的不同之處在於這本書編排得很係統，適閤當Mannual。而《Pro Git》則更加生動一些，深入淺齣，適閤拿來入門。

使用GIT前应该看的第一本书，从头到尾没有什么多余的章节，每章都值得一看。这本书看起来还是很舒服的，偶尔出现几个生僻词汇，基本上不卡。而且尤其喜欢用简图的方式介绍GIT的各种对象和动作，贴心的。其实从另一方面说来，GIT本身就是建立在DAG上的分布式VCS，当然用图解最爽...
