著者簡介

艾倫•貝內特

1934年生，英國當代最重要的劇作傢，兼具小說傢、演員多重身份，曾兩度拒絕英國女王授勛，六十年代以電視係列片《藝穗節之外》成名，主要劇作包括《往事四十年》、《喬治三世的瘋狂》等。2006年劇作《曆史男孩》獲得托尼奬最佳劇本奬。而他的兩本自傳作品和小說《非普通讀者》也是廣受好評的文學暢銷書。
