One of British finest actors. Paul Eddington has written his autobiography with great wit and rare honesty. In it he looks back at his childhood spent with his estranged parents, and describes the beginnings of his Quaker faith, revealing the problems his strong anti-war beliefs created for him in his early days as an actor. He goes on to trace the highs and lows of his career, a career that spanned fifty years. He worked with most of the greatest names in film and theater and this provided him with some of the best 'behind the scenes' stories ever told. He also talks frankly about his life threatening illnesses, and his battle with skin cancer, which finally, after the publication of this book, got the better of him.
