The doughboys had ar-<br >rived only six days before and many had still not<br >recovered from their sea voyage， but they held their<br >heads high， marching proudly to the beat of the drums<br >as they made their way through the cheering throngs.<br > The doughboys were from all over the United States，<br >from all walks of life.
