读得第一本罗斯的书。感觉翻译得不是很好，读起来有些拗口。 1. 每个人都拥有自己的秘密，秘密就是你需要更多的谎言去填补的东西。对于科尔曼来说，他的秘密就是隐藏了自己黑人血统的真相，与家人一刀两断，伪装成一个白人，进入中产阶级知识分子队伍，做了一个体面的大学教授...  

其实整个叙述的就是一个冲撞危机，身份，语言，过去，现在，年龄等等，最后男女主人公也以冲撞形式的车祸结束生命。 71岁的出身于一个讲究用词准确的黑人家庭却一直以犹太人身份背叛家族的原雅典娜学院院长，一个大学古典文学的教授，因为对没来上课的两个同学用了一个有另外含...
