作者简介

He has illustrated many books and his illustrations have appeared in the New York Times Book Review, Observer Food Monthly, Art Review, and the FT Weekend magazine.

只能说，和这本书相比，先前看的《狄更斯讲英国史》简直就是太难看了，絮絮叨叨的狄更斯真的让我极其心烦。这本Story of England条理清晰，作者不说废话，又能突出重点，看完后对英国的历史了解不少。
