1947. In the chaotic aftermath of World War II, American college girl Charlie St. Clair is pregnant, unmarried, and on the verge of being thrown out of her very proper family. 作者简介
Kate Quinn is a native of southern California. She attended Boston University, where she earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Classical Voice. A lifelong history buff, she has written four novels in the Empress of Rome Saga, and two books in the Italian Renaissance, before turning to the 20th century with "The Alice Network." All have been translated into multiple languages.

断断续续听得完有声书，听到Charlie就会走神，但Eve的故事线却很清晰
评分Weaving the plot around not-so-well-known Wikipedia entries might appear to be a clever idea from the outset, but in the end it doesn't do much to change the fact that this book is a chick lit at heart and a failed attempt to enunciate the gravity of history and war. And it's WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long at that.

评分难以打tag的书 我期待有更多主角工作细节/发挥特长干大事的内容 结果感情戏max 现在bestselling全部都是这种小姑娘的感情戏 真是受够了 听的audible所以给narrator加一颗星吧 学过法语听着挺开心的
评分Eve的故事还有些意思，想写女性但这文笔也太生硬，表现方式也太糟糕了，根本就是把口号往脸上甩。Charlie的故事无聊至极，像是披着历史外衣的狗血青春剧。
