Nestle first invented chocolate morsels (the first chocolate chip) in 1939, after discovering the first chocolate chip cookie recipe. This was created at the Toll House Inn, Massachusetts by Ruth Wakefield. With a deal for the rights to the recipe, "The Famous Toll House Cookie" was born. Chocolate chips are formulated to retain their taste in any recipe and give off bursts of intense flavour during the cooking process. Featuring recipes for hot summer days, cold winter nights, breakfast or a weekend brunch, this collection includes biscuits, cakes, pies, breads, puddings, bars and squares, muffins, hot and cold beverages and sauces.
