就是非常心疼，没别的，作者抓人物感情非常到位了，但是感觉结束的好仓促，可能自己也觉得悲伤逆流成河了吧

对于一个处女作来讲很棒了情节性超强猜得到开头猜不到结尾(其实是能猜到part of the mystery but not the whole story) 居然让我昨晚直接一口气读完了并且读完时我看着身边熟睡的Ruby 极少有地为一本书泪目（发现很多小说家的处女作都属于这种笔风稚拙但故事好令人放不下的类型）没什么长篇细腻的描写很多对话每一句都在把故事往前推但是个人觉得书中作者试图interweave进去的尼日利亚历史/社会变更这条线稍显多余(或者是我品味有限并不能appreciate) 总之本书和书里人物一样 deeply humane, flawed, and ultimately lovely

故事还不错，但没满足对尼日利亚背景的期待

很惊讶居然是作者的处女作用男女主双视角自述连接流畅也没有显得很乱铺垫和渲染的恰到好处人物性格在故事开始的一些对话中就已经露尖尖文笔细腻从来没有一本小说可以让我看每一句话都心惊胆战因为情节高潮不断小反转好几个悲伤无奈的事总在发生字里行间可以体会到女主角的绝望后来是哀莫大于心死了好在第三个孩子没有早逝美中不足的就是介绍的政权背景没能更好的和小说主线结合有点突兀
