著者簡介

A cartoonist and illustrator from Austin, TX born in 1996. Tillie's first book was published at the age of 18 by UK publishers Avery Hill. She has since made two further books with them, been nominated for an Eisner and won two Ignatz Awards. All in the space of 18 months. A recent grad of the Center for Cartoon Studies. Tillie likes cats, architecture, daylight and manga. She doesn't like flowers, nighttime, loud music, or superhero comics.

看封麵以為是講芭蕾的，仔細一看纔發現原來是花滑~ 本來是藉給10歲娃看的，決定自己先翻一遍，看完覺得。。。嗯，還是先不給娃看瞭吧，有些內容（性探索，同性戀，被性騷擾什麼的）對她來說有點早~ 覺得作者很厲害，每天花這麼多時間練習花滑，還要學大提琴，還會畫畫。。。藝術天賦很牛呀！期待作者接下來的作品。

殘酷的青春筆記，如作者自己所說，這本迴憶錄記錄的是那份情緒，而不是人物事件，整本書也不是完整的故事（作者96年生人，人生還長著呢），就是很獨一份的剖白自我的心路曆程（這點作者對自己非常誠實），唯一覺得奇怪的是以作者這麼上乘的畫技分鏡和上色（莫非靠的都是那節版畫課？），故事裏卻很少提及畫畫在她人生裏起一個怎樣的作用。

一開始是覺得畫風閤我意纔看的，以花滑為綫講述瞭一段作者的青蔥歲月，劇情其實很簡單，整體基調也很淡然，但是那份情感是確確實實的傳遞給瞭讀者。另外，我看完纔發現作者居然是96年的，值得推薦
