著者简介

A cartoonist and illustrator from Austin, TX born in 1996. Tillie's first book was published at the age of 18 by UK publishers Avery Hill. She has since made two further books with them, been nominated for an Eisner and won two Ignatz Awards. All in the space of 18 months. A recent grad of the Center for Cartoon Studies. Tillie likes cats, architecture, daylight and manga. She doesn't like flowers, nighttime, loud music, or superhero comics.

觉得还是真实反观自我的书。如果不是滑冰而是弹钢琴是不是就会丢失很多读者呢？背后没有很透彻的体悟，其实不需要很透彻的体悟。但是否有可能是因为滑冰是个还未普及刚刚流行的项目才让这个故事更有可读性呢

前年冬天收到的，到今年8月才翻开看。老实说只是因为Tillie Walden的画面才入的这本，青少年成长历程什么的放到图像层面上难免就变得让人犯困(读之前一度认为会和Katie Green的那本类似)，但其实也还好。飞快翻完，有待重读。

残酷的青春笔记，如作者自己所说，这本回忆录记录的是那份情绪，而不是人物事件，整本书也不是完整的故事（作者96年生人，人生还长着呢），就是很独一份的剖白自我的心路历程（这点作者对自己非常诚实），唯一觉得奇怪的是以作者这么上乘的画技分镜和上色（莫非靠的都是那节版画课？），故事里却很少提及画画在她人生里起一个怎样的作用。
