This is a wonderful edition of Wind in the Willows. As a boy in the early sixties, I followed the adventures of Toad and the all the other characters in a weekly comic/magazine, which I believe was called Playhour. When this edition of Wind in the Willows was published, it featured many of the very witty water colour paintings of Philip Mendoza from those original weekly magazines. I still think this is one of the best, fully illustrated versions of Wind in the Willows ever published. ISBN 0 340 285737
