Randall在许多人眼里like a god。这本通论专著一出版就洛阳纸贵，在美国非常流行。很多观点非常发人深省。不过问题在于还是old school的痕迹很明显，基本上没有涉及社会文化史，而是更多地从卫生行政的角度来考虑问题，作为global health专业的教科书固然不错，但是作为历史学著作，却不能不有令人遗憾的地方。
评分可能是當前第一本系統討論全球健康史的著作。

评分Randall在许多人眼里like a god。这本通论专著一出版就洛阳纸贵，在美国非常流行。很多观点非常发人深省。不过问题在于还是old school的痕迹很明显，基本上没有涉及社会文化史，而是更多地从卫生行政的角度来考虑问题，作为global health专业的教科书固然不错，但是作为历史学著作，却不能不有令人遗憾的地方。
