著者简介

John Connolly was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1968 and has, at various points in his life, worked as a journalist, a barman, a local government official, a waiter and a dogsbody at Harrods department store in London. He studied English in Trinity College, Dublin and journalism at Dublin City University, subsequently spending five years working as a freelance journalist for The Irish Times newspaper, to which he continues to contribute.

He is based in Dublin but divides his time between his native city and the United States.

A sweet coming-of-age tale. It is full of sound of fury but signifies something greater than what the human world encompasses; forgiveness, love, and growth will (not always I suppose) prevail over loneliness and hatred. Would probably read better if I had finished it sooner but whatever it's pretty good.

断断续续读了一个月，到三分之二处真的读不下去了。这是一个完整的作品，虽然我没看完，但是能做到没把死去的配角忘了就很不错了。除了白雪公主部分都很boooorrrring
