範存忠（1903—1987），字雪橋、雪樵，上海市崇明縣人。1926年畢業於國立東南大學外語係；1931年獲哈佛大學哲學博士學位後迴國；1944—1945年在牛津大學講學；1931—1949年間，曆任原中央大學外國語言文學係教授、係主任，文學院院長等職；1956年後，曾任南京大學副校長、圖書館館長、中國英國史研究會名譽會長等職。主要著作有《英美史綱》、《英國文學史綱》、《英國文學論集》、《中國文化在英國》、《中西文化散論》等。
