很特彆，令人耳目一新的閱讀！感謝書友推薦，讓我早點下決心讀這本聽上去是我舒適區外的作品。Gray的現代版“科學怪人”，講述瞭一個醫生創造瞭一位擁有20多歲女性身體和嬰兒大腦的人。聽起來有點怪異嚇人吧？但其實作品本身的寫作幽默又嚴肅且新奇：作者用一種拼接的架構，引讀者搜尋“曆史資料”和信件、手稿、片段，展現這個令人驚奇故事。同時，在這些“資料”中我們也“聽”到瞭截然不同的聲音--和故事主題相當符閤的是，到底誰是可靠的敘述者？不變的、永遠有著掌控欲望的男人去講述女性的故事？還是這個獨立有反抗意識的女人？（劇透可恥，謎底就自己揭開吧）。最後，Gray對於大英帝國的曆史和政治事件的點評也是這書的點睛之筆。
