很特别，令人耳目一新的阅读！感谢书友推荐，让我早点下决心读这本听上去是我舒适区外的作品。Gray的现代版“科学怪人”，讲述了一个医生创造了一位拥有20多岁女性身体和婴儿大脑的人。听起来有点怪异吓人吧？但其实作品本身的写作幽默又严肃且新奇：作者用一种拼接的架构，引读者搜寻“历史资料”和信件、手稿、片段，展现这个令人惊奇故事。同时，在这些“资料”中我们也“听”到了截然不同的声音--和故事主题相当符合的是，到底谁是可靠的叙述者？不变的、永远有着掌控欲望的男人去讲述女性的故事？还是这个独立有反抗意识的女人？（剧透可耻，谜底就自己揭开吧）。最后，Gray对于大英帝国的历史和政治事件的点评也是这书的点睛之笔。
