meta分析是不是没有理论的？？纯粹就一个概念？挺朴素的。
评分此书是元分析方法的圣经，作者是元分析两个流派之一的宗师，现在只要是讨论effect size的正经书籍都会引用此书，可见其影响程度。元分析是现代科学研究历史上崭新的一页，之前完全无法解决的问题通过元分析技术得以突破。元分析是一种较为高级的统计应用，将互相之间本难以直接比较的研究证据进行整合分析，但这种方法有很多的理论前提与操作细节，想做元分析而理论功底不够的话产生错误结论的风险非常高。细读本书简直就是科研工作者必须之功课，能够从根本上避免愚蠢的决策。当然了，如果统计水平都只是入门就不要先读这书，还是得先补课统计，毕竟作者没有把最基本多东西都放在书里，大致上只有了解多元统计的读者才能最有效的吸收元分析的精髓。另外，前面说过元分析主要有两个流派，其区别是统计公式与重要参数的选择，这也是很有趣的。
