Mac Barnett born to non-farmers in a California farming community, Mac now lives near San Francisco. He's on the board of directors of 826LA, a nonprofit writing center for students in Los Angeles, and he founded the Echo Park Time Travel Mart, a convenience store for time travelers.
Jon Klassen received the 2010 Canadian Governor General’s Award for his illustrations in Caroline Stutson’s CAT'S NIGHT OUT. He also created illustrations for the popular series THE INCORRIGIBLE CHILDREN OF ASHTON PLACE and served as an illustrator on the animated feature film Coraline. I WANT MY HAT BACK is the first book he has both written and illustrated. Originally from Niagara Falls, Canada, he lives in Los Angeles.

评分Sam and David missed all those spectacular things while digging. Jon Klassen's ending is pretty scary when you compare the pictures at the beginning and in the end. Persistence is what we are lack of.
评分两个小男孩一起挖宝，却总在接近宝藏的一刻决定改变挖掘方向，与宝藏失之交臂。简单却充满寓意。结尾很轻松，两人从地球另一头掉下来，没有丧气，只是进屋寻找巧克力和饼干去了。与《狼、鸭子、老鼠》是同一个作者，很喜欢他的风格，故事简单有寓意，却也轻松幽默（虽然有时候是黑色幽默），大人看也不会觉得幼稚。
