The end is kind of shocked, but probably is the reasonable ending the nature in that world gives, the reasonable ending they deserves. (The hungry kid with consciousness is a real human form.)

2.5/5 A philosophical meditation on humanity, TGWATG tells a pretty conventional zombie/post-apocalypse story in an unconventional way, measuring the virtues and vices of the human race in its unfolding; but the overly technical language and the slow pace in which events unfold can be so tormenting for readers who are not so excited about zombies.
